ABOUT US
FROM THE BOARD
The Board of Directors of the JCA is dedicated to serving the needs of the Jewish Community, as well as people of other faiths. Our mission of care is the guiding force behind our determination to provide the highest possible quality of life. Our full spectrum of services includes skilled nursing, rehabilitation, residential care, respite or short-term care, specialized care for patients with Alzheimer's disease, and adult day services.
Located in West St. Louis County, the JCA is an integral part of the Jewish community, as it has been for almost a century. Our new campus, called the Cedars at the JCA, supports a variety of educational and social activities for the community, ranging from small family gatherings to large conferences. We are extremely grateful to the Jewish Federation and the United Way for their generous support.
The primary focus of the JCA is to provide a quality, home-like facility for our
residents and their families. The atmosphere at the Cedars is lively and welcoming,
with residents engaged in a variety of social, educational, and fitness activities.
Our food service includes a kosher option, prepared in our in-house kosher kitchen.
Jewish religious services are available to all residents in one of our two synagogues;
Catholic and non-denominational services are also conducted.
The JCA reflects the spirit and intent of our mission - to provide the highest quality health care and supportive services ... for older adults, within a warm and nurturing environment that respects Jewish values and traditions.
Very truly yours,
Kenneth L. Rubin
JCA Board President
